On October 19, a Roswell officer noticed a car going over 20 mph above the speed limit on Crossville Road. The officer also saw the man speedily change lanes on several occasions without using his blinker. The officer decided to pull the man over.
On October 11, a Roswell police officer patrolling the Kroger parking lot on Holcomb Bridge Road heard a loud squealing of car tires and then noticed a blue car driving out of the parking lot at a fast speed.
On October 4, Roswell police were called to a Chevron station on Holcomb Bridge Road in reference to an armed robbery. A Chevron employee greeted the officers and explained to them that the suspect, a black male, threw her to the ground, pointed a gun at her head and demanded all of the money in the register.
Ellis Wright was found lying by the side of Highway 400, only a few feet from on-coming traffic, on the night of September 18. When Roswell police approached him, they found him to be uninjured and unbelievably drunk.
On September 14, Roswell officers were called to an address on Coleman Road in reference to a fight. When the officers arrived, they spoke to several witnesses who told them the following story: the witnesses were trying to move their passed out friend Christopher Aldridge from the floor to his bedroom. In the middle of moving Aldridge, Aldridge woke up and physically fought off his friends.
On September 7, Roswell Police were called to a local QuikTrip in reference to a verbal dispute. When the officers arrived, they talked to Charles Bayles, who told them that a man, identified as Marquarious Johnson, was outside the QT yelling and screaming profanities.
On the night of September 4, police were alerted to a fatal stabbing in Milton. Two victims were reported, the first being Marianela Smith, who was dead on the scene due to several knife wounds to the chest and arms, and Ramero Furman, who was injured with what appeared to be self-inflicted knife wounds to his throat and wrists. He was taken to North Fulton Hospital and listed as being in critical condition.
